This is such an important life or death issue, I am glad the BOA has stopped working on less important things such as the budget to deal with the Taco Trucks. Aren't you?

Of course, all the non-profit working, trust fund having, Opies have started whining about the plight of the Taco Trucks, which are VIOLATING THE LAW, laws designed to protect your health and safety. Now they want to eliminate anonymous complaints of this sort, change the reporting laws (remember the really free anarchist market?). Nice job, Carrboro BOA. By eliminating anonymous complaints, you can eliminate the complaints. It's all about appearances, isn't it?

Of course, since NONE of the Opies know of the for-profit obligation to pay taxes to government, no one is asking these Taco Truck owners to see their latest quarterly tax payments, or FICA, SUTA, or FUTA. Workmen's comp? What is that?

I think I will call the State Department of Revenue and have them investigate these folks to make sure they really are contributing to the “Economic Development” of Carrboro, instead of just its “ED”.
