Hmmm......Let's see, teacher:

1.  There is NOTHING the residents of Orange County can do about Carolina North.  It is a State owned facility, usufructing is not an option.  Whine all you want, they can and will build whatever they want.  Ever notice how that is what has happened on the central campus?  This piece of property is no different from a legal standpoint. So, go to your meetings, have your "green" input etc, but the bottom line is that they have NO reason to listen to anyone.

Well, maybe the town of Chapel Hell could work on the homeless problem instead.  Not near as happy to talk about but much more in their field of control.  What a concept!

2.  There is NOTHING the residents of Orange County can do about big box development in Chatham county.  If you want to have a voice, then move there.

I hope they build a Wal Mart, Lowes Home Improvement, etc there.  Then at least my gas consumption, if not my leakage trail, will be less.

Okay, teacher, time for a break.  Plus, I am out of propane....off to Wal Mart in Durham for more!!  I love Walmart!
